Halton congratulates Malcolm Ravenscroft and his company in New Zealand


Halton’s good, long term agent in New Zealand, Malcolm Ravenscroft turned 70 and the company turned 25, Malcolm Ravenscroft (right) and Bengt Avellán on March 7th 2009.  

In addition to celebrating the birthday of the founder and the anniversary of the company, the event also deepened Halton's and Malcolm Ravenscroft Ltd's cooperation. On the behalf of Halton, Bengt Avellán signed a licence manufacturing and marketing agreement. The agreement covers Halton Indoors product lines, mainly active chilled  beams and low velocity units.The contract covers gepographically New Zealand, Australia, Papua New-Guinea and South Pacific Islands south of the equator.

Both companies have great expectations enlarging the cooperation. Local manufacturing is a part of Halton Indoors’ strategy. Local manufacturing is also a sustinable choice. "Most of us have heard the phrase "short travelled food" when we are talking about our environment, now we can talk about "short travelled" chilled beams. The agreement will also provide our agent in Australia, Air Solutions International Ltd. with local support and locally produced products, comments Avellán.

In addition, joint Halton / Ravenscroft Ltd. annual engineering award for the top engineering cadet was announced in the celebration event. The person receiving the award will be decided later and he/she will comprehensively trained in Halton indoor climate laboratories.
