Halton equips the famous Okura Restaurant kitchen


The Amsterdam Okura hotel, home of Michelin star restaurants Ciel Bleu and Yamazota is launching an exciting new concept for foodies. “Taste of Okura” is a series of workshops in Japanese, French and International cooking. The workshops will be held in a brand new kitchen and wine room. Halton has been invited to cooperate in the design of the kitchen ventilation, Halton design airflow rates and delivered the capture jet hoods and displacement diffusers. 

‘Taste of Okura' is opened in December. At this culinary centre, the Okura's chefs will show you how to prepare their dishes and the sommeliers will explain how to pair wine and sake with the food. ‘Taste of Okura' is equipped with the latest high-tech Miele equipment. In addition to a kitchen, the culinary centre also has a Wine Room, a shop and a trendy lounges, where you can enjoy the food you have prepared yourself. To celebrate the opening, the first 100 cooking aficionados to sign up for a workshop will receive an original Taste of Okura kitchen apron.
