Burgos University Hospital has chosen Halton solutions

Burgos University Hospital Burgos, Spain. Based in a long term relation with Electrolux Industrial SA, Halton Foodservice has supplied and installed a high performance ventilation and exhaust system in the kitchen of the recently opened Burgos University Hospital.

In cooperation with Electrolux Industrial SA and Consulting engineering office Promec, Halton proposed a solution to fit with many technical challenges such as: heights, dimensions, airflows, aesthetical finishing, etc..., while ensuring high levels of comfort for kitchen staff, good containment capacity, minimum energy consumption and low cost of ownership. Excellent exhaust conditions are provided with Halton's patented Capture Jet technology that requires between 30-40% less airflow compared to systems based in traditional hoods, reducing air draughts as well as fans energy consumption. Finally and due to special characteristics of the site, an automatic water wash system was installed in the hoods, ensuring hygiene and safety in the Hospital's kitchen.
