Halton - Winner of 2012 FCSI APD "Innovation & Technology award" at FHA Singapore



1st Halton Pollustop in Asia!

  Appreciation certificates were presented to the FCSI APD sponsors and the FCSI APD 2012 “Innovation Technology” award was presented to Rudi Kitzbichler from “Halton Foodservice” and to the project consultant David Kidney FCSI.

  The technology award for the first time invited Allied members to partner with a consultant member to present a poster describing a significant project they had jointly worked on.
Six entries were received and the winning Halton entry showed the application of” Pollustop” pollution control and UV-C capture jet hoods used at the National University of Singapore, Undergraduate Residences project.

Halton has designed an air treatment solution for the National University of Singapore. It combines the UV-C Capture Ray™ technology with 12 UVF hoods installed and Pollustop Ecology units, with 6 units installed. The grease deposition and odour emissions are reduced at extremely low levels. Thanks to the Capture Jet™ canopies installed inside the kitchen, hygiene, fire safety and respect for the environment are combined with energy efficiency:
