Capture Jet Technology - exhaust efficiency with reduced airflows

Halton Capture Jet prevents the heat and impurities produced by cooking appliances spreading to the work area. Compared to conventional exhaust-only hoods, Capture Jet is up to 30% more efficient and it reduces required airflows resulting in savings in weight, space and energy consumption. The Halton Capture Jet technology does not necessarely require a separate supply air duct. The Capture Jet Fan  takes the required air from the galley. This also saves space as well as construction and operation costs.

Capture Jet 3 enables up to 45% lower exhaust air flow rates

KW3 is a completely new Halton Marine hood  that utilizes Halton's Capture Jet 3 technology allowing the hood to operate with up to 45% lower exhaust air flow rates. The operation principle is simple; contaminated air is directed into the hood from three different sizes.

The combination of Capture Jet technology and M.A.R.V.E.L. technologies represent the greates energy saving potential in galleys today.  

Control panel option controlling several hoods

The Halton touch panel provides easy to use interface for operating the hood and selected technologies like UV-light technology, water wash system and M.A.R.V.E.L. demand-controlled ventilation. The touch panel displays individual hoods with clear pictures allowing the potential alarms or hood statuses to be displayed visually. The touch panel can manage up to 32 hoods (depending on the integrated technology).
