Halton was proud to collaborate with Singer-Kittredge on the multi-year (2019-2021) renovation of the original Yale Commons. The iconic Yale Commons first opened its doors over one hundred years ago in October of 1901. The new name for this historic building is the Yale Schwarzman Center, thanks to a generous donation by Blackstone founder and Yale Alumni Stephen A. Schwarzman. His vision was to create a world-class, state-of-the-art campus center.

Halton provided Yale with solutions for the Commons Area, Basement Kitchen, and Refreshments Coffee Bar. These solutions included Halton’s Capture Jet KVR Round exhaust hoods, multiple Capture Jet KVE exhaust hoods with M.A.R.V.E.L. demand control kitchen ventilation, and a Type II CH Condensate hood.
