CE Marked (UKCA pending) – The ABD balancing dampers are a vital component of M.A.R.V.E.L. energy saving technology for commercial kitchens. They are used to automatically adjust in real-time the exhaust airflow rates depending on the cooking activity. This feature allows for independent adjustment of each Capture Jet™ hood section or area of ventilated ceiling tied to a common duct and fan system.

Overview

The ABD balancing dampers are integral to M.A.R.V.E.L. energy saving technology. The automated balancing dampers adjust the exhaust airflow rate independently for each hood or ventilated ceiling area on a common fan, based on direct pressure readings from integral T.A.B.™ test and balance port in they are equipped with.

Controlled by M.A.R.V.E.L. energy saving technology depending on the cooking activity.
Does not accumulate grease like guillotine type dampers.
Night time set back closes damper preventing air from entering the building.
Actuator fail safe opens on power interruption.
Compatible with fire suppression systems and the installation of the duct connection nozzles.
