Halton TTAP TP1 är en första solid-state HVAC-enhet som använder halvledarteknik för att tillhandahålla kylning och uppvärmning genom att endast använda lågspänningselektricitet. Därför är direktmatning från solpaneler möjlig.

Hyttenheter i kryssningsfartyg, offshoreplattformar eller transformatorstationer är integrerade komponenter i fartygets HVAC-system (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning), som är särskilt utformade för att hantera och upprätthålla klimatet i varje passagerar- och besättningskabin.
