Fire Control Systems

Halton offers a wide range of fire and safety products that control, manage, and communicate with the central management system (SM2). It coordinates the operation of various fire safety components, ensuring an effective response to fire incidents and protecting lives, property, and the environment.

When a fire breaks out, the system takes measures to control the shut-off operation of fire dampers. It does so based on alarm indications from thermal fuses, smoke detection, or external alarm inputs.

The fire control system consists of sensors for rooms (HSR) and ducts (HSD), link units (HSL) that can connect to different sensors and receive the alarms, a power unit (HSP) that powers the link units, fire dampers, and smoke detectors. Halton’s safe management system can connect to fire dampers and smoke detectors via one or several link units (up to 50), making it suitable for a wide range of environments.
