Data centerS: Uptime is EVErything
Uncompromising reliability defines the modern data center. Backed by over 50 years of providing safe and clean indoor air, Halton delivers robust, proven, and tailored solutions, engineered to protect your operations 24/7.
Why Halton for Data Centers?

Flexibility that evolves
The solutions are “change-ready” by design.

Stable climate conditions
No matter of the conditions outside, the indoor climate in Data Center stays stable.

Laboratory testing and verification
Solutions are verified with full scale mock up and/or CFD analysis.
Typical challenges in data centers
Servers and computers are sensitive to poor indoor climate conditions e.g. high temperature like us humans. We support design of data centers to find a good overall solution from air intakes to air distribution and circulation of air as well as to ventilation fire safety.
When you’re involved in data center project, connect and consult us early on in the project. We might have ready made solution for you, or we can make a perfect one together.

Data centers need stable indoor climate conditions

Tested in harsh conditions and proven to deliver
Halton, the safest choice
Our solutions work every day in countless indoors environments. They are tested and approved even in the most demanding conditions all over the globe including extreme arctic conditions, oil-rigs, cruise ships and ice-breakers. The very same products are utilized in the most modern data centers to ensure their ventilation processes.
Halton is known for its louvre-damper solution for air intakes. The Halton louvre-damper system include external storm louvre panels combined with internal shut-off volume control dampers. The dampers are heavy duty stainless steel with thermally insulated blades with improved corrosion resistance and thermal performance. The self-supporting structure can be delivered with integrated security grids and equipped with extended casing and modular frames for easy installation to the building structure. Factory made modular structure speeds up the installation at site significantly making it easy to meet even the demanding project schedules.
Solutions are verified with full scale mock up and/or CFD analysis in our Halton Innovation Hub to ensure high uptime and reliability of the operations in data centers. CFD analysis is recommended especially in cold climates to estimate the risk and extent of condensation effect.
