On October 16, 2025, Halton Ventilation (Shanghai) Co., Ltd marked its 20th anniversary with a celebration in Lingang, a strategic development zone in southeastern Shanghai.
We were honored by the presence of distinguished guests including Ms Anu Vuori, the Consul General of Finland in Shanghai, Mr Kari Hakala, the Director of Finncham Shanghai, Mr Zhangjie Fu, Deputy Director of the High-tech Division of the Lingang Administrative Committee, alongside our valued clients, partners, and our colleagues, all joining to witness this significant milestone.
Following opening remarks from Pascal Martin, the General Manager of Halton Ventilation (Shanghai) Co., Ltd, Kai Konola, the CEO of Halton Group, took the stage and said, “20 years ago, we made a very important step and established a local company, Halton Ventilation Shanghai. This meant the start of in-country manufacturing, engineering, and other operations.”
“Nothing comes easy and granted, unless you work hard and improve yourself every day. This is what our team has accomplished here”. Kai added.
“We are here only for and because of our valued customers. We came here to be closer to you and serve you in local yards.” Said Sami Piraiinen, the Vice President of the Marine, Energy, and Infrastructure, “The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second-best time is now.” He also expressed his anticipation for the next 20 years.
Mr Zhangjie Fu also spoke, expressing appreciation for Halton’s role in the district’s development, and stressing Lingang’s ongoing commitment to a partnership for shared growth.
“For 20 years, Halton has advanced cleaner, safer, and more energy-efficient ventilation systems for demanding environments, never forgetting about sustainability.” Ms Anu Vuori, Consul General, noted in her dinner remark, “This year also marks 75 years of diplomatic relations between Finland and China. Over those decades, our two countries have built a solid foundation of trust and cooperation, one that continues to support growth and innovation on both sides.”
The celebrations concluded with a festive dinner buffet, marking the perfect end to our anniversary event. We extend our sincere appreciation to all our partners for two decades of trust and collaboration. We look forward to our continued partnership in building a future of shared prosperity and sustainable wellbeing.
