Halton Ventilation (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. has delivered FDB2 fire dampers and BRD pressure-relief dampers for Living Quarter blocks, which are installed on FPSO fleet (Floating, Production, Storage and Offloading units). Construction of FPSO fleet will be finalized in Brazil and delivered to multinational energy company. This is one way how Halton enables safer conditions at seas.
Living Quarters are built by COSCO (Shanghai) shipyard, close to Halton Ventilation premises in China. “Local presence is a huge benefit to manage projects and co-operate with shipyards. The type-approved A0(A60) Halton FDB2 fire and gas dampers are Halton Ventilation’s most sold products that are used in oil & gas, marine and navy applications. FDB2, that is the most widely sold marine fire damper in the world, is truly designed for fire. The tightness of the damper improves substantially under fire conditions.
Halton BRD pressure-relief dampers are used in offshore and marine application and these dampers prevent backflow through ventilation ductwork system.
