This is the first world expo arranged in the Middle East, with nearly 180 countries already registered for it. The event expects approximately 25 million visitors, 70 percent of which coming from outside the United Arab Emirates.
The participation of leading Finnish companies in the Dubai Expo was first announced by Business Finland 9 October 2018. According to the announcement, participation in the world exhibition is expected, among other things, to reinforce Finnish exports and the participating companies’ internationalization as well as to promote their competitive advantage within the region.
