HL Moisture Eliminator

Overview

The HL high-efficiency triple deflection moisture eliminator is designed to provide effective moisture removal and reliable performance under arduous offshore and marine conditions. It is suitable for installation in duct inlets or exhausts where high levels of water separation are required. The robust triple deflection design ensures efficient operation and consistent performance, delivering improved moisture removal compared with conventional louvres.

Key Features

Casing

The moisture eliminator casing is formed from 3.0 mm thick sheet steel into a rigid channel section suitable for duct or surface mounting. The HL is available as a single unit, minimum size 300mm x 300mm and maximum size 2100mm x 2000mm. Larger sizes may be achieved with multiple unit assemblies. The insertion length is 200mm.

Vanes

The triple deflection vanes are a formed single skin of 0.56 mm sheet steel, specially designed to maximise efficiency.

• Option for mesh screen to prevent ingress of foreign bodies into the ductwork

Installation

Dampers are typically provided with integral drilled flanges that allow for bolting to ductwork, structural divisions, wall sleeves and similar. Flanges and drillings can be to Halton standard or customer specification.

Installation and maintenance instructions are provided with each damper delivery.
