Overview

The CPR‑01 Pressure Relief Damper is designed to provide reliable pressure relief performance and efficient operation under arduous conditions. It is intended for use in applications where controlled overpressure must be maintained, such as electrical equipment rooms, control rooms and living quarters, helping to prevent the ingress of hazardous gases. The robust construction ensures consistent performance and long service life. The damper is typically set to operate at a defined differential pressure and may be installed vertically or horizontally, with airflow in the upward direction, offering flexibility for a wide range of ductwork configurations.

Key Features

Casing

The damper casing is formed from 3.0 mm thick sheet steel into a rigid channel section to ensure proper alignment of blades and shafts. The CPR-01 is available as a single unit, maximum size 1200mm x 2000mm, or as a multiple unit assembly, maximum size 2500mm x 2000mm. The insertion length is 200mm. Where circular dampers are required, additional spigot adaptors are used.

Blades

The blades are a formed single skin of 1.5 mm sheet steel and operate with a parallel linkage. They seal against a flame-retardant PVC strip attached to the blades and top and bottom stops.
