Overview
The CID‑02 Single Blade Isolation Damper is designed to provide reliable isolation performance and efficient operation under arduous conditions. It is suitable for applications requiring controlled airflow in one direction. The simple, robust single‑blade construction ensures dependable performance and long service life, achieving full shut‑off when airflow assists blade closure. The damper may be installed vertically or horizontally, offering flexibility for a wide range of ductwork configurations.
Key Features
Casing
The damper casing is formed from 3.0 mm thick sheet steel into a rigid channel section to ensure proper alignment of blades and shafts. The CID-02 is available as a single unit, maximum size 600mm x 300mm. The insertion length is 350mm. Where circular dampers are required, additional spigot adaptors are used.
Blades
The blades are a formed single skin of 2.0 mm sheet steel and seal with a flame-retardant PVC strip attached to the blades and top and bottom stops.
