Halton partners with DECX Technology to introduce the Halton Vita VDU-750 decontamination unit to the Indian market

November 27, 2024

Halton is pleased to announce a partnership with DECX Technology, which will represent Halton by offering the Halton Vita VDU-750 decontamination unit in the Indian market. By combining Halton’s expertise in delivering high-quality solutions with DECX Technology’s operational excellence and market insights, this partnership aims to enhance accessibility and strengthen brand visibility across India.

The Halton Vita VDU-750 is the result of a collaboration between Halton and Cleamix. DECX Technology, already the Indian distributor for Cleamix Oy’s bio-decontamination technology, offers automated, environmentally safe and fast solutions which generates Hydrogen Peroxide Vapour vH2O2 / (VHP®) to remove microorganisms with a 6-log10 reduction in different environments. Applications include pharmaceutical production, healthcare, infrastructure management, food and beverage, food processing, and agriculture. The Halton Vita VDU-750 unit, now exclusively promoted by DECX Technology in India, ensures thorough bio-decontamination through efficient H2O2 vapor production and distribution across spaces up to 750 m³. This 3-in-1 system integrates efficient vapor distribution, process verification, and aeration in a single unit, enabling faster processes through its built-in catalyzer. This competitive solution can achieve much shorter treatment and aeration times because it doesn’t need a pre dehumidification cycle, and the generation of an unsaturated “dry” vapour means that it can obtain maximum benefit from the use of catalytic converters which accelerate the environmentally safe decomposition of the vapor into its constituent parts—water and oxygen.

DECX Technology provides distribution, technical services and maintenance support throughout India. This team is a dynamic blend of professionals with expertise across diverse domains, including technology, virology, and business development. DECX Technology’s local knowledge will enable tailored strategies that cater to regional preferences, ensuring the manufacturer’s products reach a wider audience while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. The partnership is not only a commercial venture but also a step toward building long-term relationships with Indian consumers and businesses, laying a foundation for mutual success in the years ahead.

The first opportunity to present the Halton Vita VDU-750 solution and DECX Technology as Halton’s distributor in India will be at CPHI & PMEC 2024, a significant pharmaceutical exhibition taking place from November 26th to 28th at the India Expo Centre in Delhi. This event serves as a premier platform for the pharmaceutical industry, showcasing innovations, networking opportunities, and business collaborations.
