Overview
Halton Safe HSR is part of the Halton fire and smoke safety offering.
This is an optical sensor and detects smoke in rooms. It is used to provide alarm indication to Halton Safe Link units. The sensor type is Calectro EVC-PY-DA. It is equipped with an optical chamber and a light source, which makes it possible to detect even small particles right from the starting phase of a fire.
Note: An optical sensor reacts to the consistency of particles in the air, for example, smoke. It can react also to dense water vapour.
