The tightest Shut-off, Balancing and Gas damper for demanding applications now available!

Halton UTA dampers are designed to be used to shut-off and balance airflow rates in high pressure ductwork in applications such as Marine, Oil & Gas, Onshore and Industry, where tightness and reliability are important.

The brand-new Halton Marine damper, named UTA, is the tightest Shut-off, Balancing and Gas Damper the company has developed so far.

Halton UTA dampers are designed to be used to shut-off and balance airflow rates in high pressure ductwork in applications such as Marine, Oil & Gas, Onshore and Industry, where tightness and reliability are important. The maximum duct pressure for damper construction is 5000 Pa and maximum air velocity 15 m/s.

The closed damper fulfils the requirement of leakage class 3 (EN 1751:2014) for size > 300×300 mm (model with stainless steel seals) and for size > 150×150 mm (model with silicon seals). Classification for casing leakage EN 1751 is class C.

UTA dampers are manufactured of galvanized, painted or stainless steel. Blades contain stainless steel spring seals or silicon seals. An electrical, pneumatic or manual operation system are available as well as a wide range of accessories. Frame thickness of UTA dampers is 3 or 5 mm as standard (thicker options are possible).

UTA dampers are available as ATEX certified on request.
