On January 21, Sino-Finnish Economic and Trade Forum was held in Nanjing’s Southern New City. The event brought together key figures including Anu Vuori-Kiikeri, Consul General of Finland in Shanghai, Kari Hokkanen of FinnCham Shanghai, and Ling Xiangqian, District Governor of Nanjing’s Qinhuai District. They were joined by government officials, Finnish company representatives, and Chinese partners involved in the Sino-Finnish Center project.
Also participating was Halton Ventilation (Shanghai) Co., Ltd, the supplier of the kitchen exhaust systems for the Radisson Hotel within the project. The General Manager, Mr. Pascal Martin delivered remarks sharing perspectives on the project and its regional impact.
“Halton has specialized in the design, manufacturing, and service of ventilation systems, with a focus on commercial kitchen exhaust, industrial ventilation, and air purification. We are committed to providing efficient, energy-saving, and safe solutions.” Pascal said, “One example of our work here in Southern New City is the kitchen exhaust system we installed for the Radisson Hotel — a project that reflects our dedication to performance, safety, and environmental responsibility.”

Looking to the future, Halton looks forward to deepening our cooperation with Southern New Town in several key areas:
1. Building to the Highest Standards
We deliver intelligent, integrated ventilation solutions for tomorrow’s hotels, commercial centers, and public facilities, helping projects achieve and exceed green building certifications.
2. Enabling Better Public Spaces
We ensure excellent indoor air quality for vibrant public areas—from dining and cultural districts to transportation hubs—where people gather and comfort is key.
3. Powering Smarter, Sustainable Cities
Our systems integrate with smart city platforms for live monitoring and energy optimization. For instance, Halton’s M.A.R.V.E.L. system adjusts in real-time to kitchen activity, cutting energy use by over 60% versus traditional systems.
Following our involvement in projects such as the Sino-Finnish Center, Halton sees great promise in the Southern New Town and looks forward to contributing to its future as a trusted, innovative partner.
