Steaming is at the heart of Chinese cooking. It’s the key to tender, flavorful fish and soft, fluffy buns. And a combi oven makes it easy to create these dishes anywhere in the kitchens.
However, all that steam doesn’t just stay in the oven. It floats into your kitchen during long cooking sessions, making the air damp and leaving odors that can last for hours.
Meet Halton combi oven hood. It’s designed to handle the constant steam and cooking vapors from your oven. It captures moisture and odors at the source, filtering the cooking effluent before it can spread throughout your kitchen. This means your kitchen stays fresh, comfortable, and free from too much moisture—from start to finish.

Struggling with these kitchen ventilation challenges?
- Wanting to add an oven to your existing kitchen, but the desired location has no exhaust hood.
- Planning to install new ovens in a mall or restaurant, but struggling to meet stringent exhaust requirements.
- Wondering if you can even use an oven in a space that has no external ductwork.
- Running a Chinese restaurant with a high-volume steaming menu, finding that standard exhaust hoods can’t effectively capture the steam.
Halton combi oven hood is the solution you’re looking for. Standard exhaust hoods are ineffective at handling the substantial steam generated by combi ovens. When not properly contained, this moisture leads to excessive condensation on ceilings, walls, and floors, creating safety and hygiene concerns.
No Ductwork? No Problem.
Halton combi oven hood is specifically designed to address this issue. As a self-contained unit requiring no external ductwork, it can be installed exactly where it’s needed. Designed to fit seamlessly over your combi oven, this integrated solution protects your kitchen environment and provides complete installation flexibility.
During operation, the combi oven hood utilizes its built-in multi-stage filtration system to comprehensively treat steam and smoke, ensuring emissions comply with standards and effectively eliminating residual odors. When the combi oven door opens and a large amount of steam is released, the built-in fan in the Halton combi oven hood receives a signal and automatically adjusts to the optimal airflow level to ensure effective containment.
Simultaneously, the Capture Jet at the hood’s front forms an air curtain that contributes to containing the steam within a specific area to prevent spillage. It also helps lower the air temperature while guiding the steam into the extraction system for treatment, with the airflow rate being automatically regulated by built-in sensors.
Halton combi oven hood integrates advanced filtration technology with its innovative duct-free design, ensuring full compliance with stringent emission standards while effectively controlling humidity and eliminating odors in any commercial kitchen environment.
