To celebrate the opening, Halton will host a grand opening ceremony on Thursday, April 18th, 2024, featuring tours of the new facility, demonstrations of our manufacturing process, and speeches from company executives and local officials. The event will highlight Halton’s investment in the latest manufacturing technologies and its dedication to sustainability practices.
The new 96,100 square feet (8,928m2) facility represents a significant investment in the local economy, with the creation of over sixty full-time jobs in the Allen County area. Equipped with an additional 47,000 sq ft of manufacturing space and 8,100 sq ft for labs and offices, the expanded facility enhances the production capabilities and enables Halton to serve their customers more efficiently. The added space includes a research and development office and lab for the air-moving product line, as well as new manufacturing space for additional product lines to support the overall growth of the business. The investment also includes an inventory management system, additional press brakes, welding stations, and assembly lines, plus a UL-listed electrical panel assembly department.
Halton’s expansion of the new Scottsville, KY facility reflects the ongoing commitment to community engagement and economic development. This new facility not only represents the growth ambitions but also the dedication to creating a positive impact in the communities where they operate.

Phil Meredith, Foodservice Americas, Strategic Business Area Director noted the expansion provides increased capacity and flexibility for manufacturing as the demand for Halton’s exhaust fans, make up air systems and pollution control units continues to grow. With Halton being the leader in commercial kitchen ventilation and air distribution systems, a dedicated air movement Innovation Hub will further enhance Halton’s product development and testing capabilities. The Innovation Hub will join ten others around the globe dedicated to advanced research in indoor environments.
U.S. operations expanded with a new manufacturing facility initially in 1997, with further expansions in 2016, when a new U.S. corporate headquarters for the company was established in Kentucky. In 2019, a second Kentucky-based manufacturing facility was opened to support the growing air-handling segment of the business.
