In Paris, Joël Robuchon opened with his Japanese Partner Hiroshi Sakurai, (Producer of the famous Dassai sakes), a new and very contemporary place, at the same time pastry, tea room, restaurant and tasting bar.

Joël Robuchon is a French chef and restaurateur, tilted “Chef of the Century” by the guide Gault Millau in 1989. He was also awarded the Meilleur Ouvrier de France (France’s Best Craftsma) in cuisine in 1976. He operates a dozen restaurants in Bangkok, Bordeaux, Hong Kong, Las Vegas, London, Macau, Monaco, Paris, Singapour, Taipei, Tokyo, and New York City, with a total of 32 Michelin Guide Stars.
