Cactus Club is a chain of upscale casual restaurants based in Vancouver, BC.  When they were planning their first eastern Canadian location at First Canadian Place in Toronto they came to Halton, their regular supplier, for the kitchen exhaust equipment package.

Cactus Club specified Halton Capture Jet^® hoods with two KDS units and two EcoloAir systems.

• The use of Capture Jet^® hoods allowed the effective capture and containment of heat and vapor at 30% less air volume than conventional hoods.
• The KDS units reduced site construction time while providing a sanitary, integrated means of providing electrical and mechanical services to the appliances.
• The EcoloAir units allowed for the legal and functional discharge of the kitchen exhaust at the street level of one of the tallest buildings in Canada.

First Canadian Place represents a new flagship location for Cactus Club and is one of several planned locations in eastern Canada.  Although only open a few weeks, it can already be deemed a big success.
