Datacentre ventilation

We help you to design and implement climate sensitive air intake, fire safety and air cleanliness to your datacentre.

Typical challenges in Datacentres

Computers are sensitive to poor indoor climate conditions e.g. high temperature like us humans. We support design of datacenters to find a good overall solution from air intakes to air distribution and circulation of air as well as to ventilation fire safety.

Do you have a challenge that requires a solution?

Consult us! Let’s see if we have ready made solution for you or if we can make one together!

Why choose Halton?

Solutions work even in the most demanding weather conditions including extreme arctic environments and oil-rigs, ships and ice-breakers. Same products are utilized in data centers to ensure air to the process reliable. Halton is known for its louvre-damper solution for air intakes. The Halton louvre-damper system for data centres includes external storm louvre panels combined with internal shut-off volume control dampers. The dampers are heavy duty stainless steel with thermally insulated blades with improved corrosion resistance and thermal performance. The self-supporting structure can be delivered with integrated security grids and equipped with extended casing and modular frames for easy installation to the building structure. Factory made modular structure speeds up the installation at site significantly making it easy to meet demanding project schedule.

Solutions are verified with full scale mock up and/or CFD analysis in our Halton Innovation Hub to ensure high uptime and reliability of the operations in  a date center. CFD analysis is recommended especially in cold climates to estimate the risk and extent of condensation effect.
