In the front cooking, food is served on 12 different counters. The students can select every day among 15 to 20 different meals.

The kitchen was originally designed to produce approximatively 4500 to 5000 meals a day but in the moment they produce already 6000 meals a day.

A fire suppression system from Tyco is also installed in the different areas.

University of Augsburg, a kitchen elected “Kitchen of the year 2013” by GV-Kompakt (leading catering magazine in Germany).
