McCormick &  Company, home to iconic flavor and spice brands such as Frank’s Red Hot, Lawry’s spices, Old BAY, Simply Asia and Zatarains, just to name of few, embarked on renovation of their technical innovation center in Maryland.

McCormick Culinary Center has chosen Halton Solutions for the ventilation of their kitchen.

Key drivers for the ventilation systems were sustainability, energy conservations measures, aesthetics and high visibility. Halton was chosen to provide an array of systems that met the design requirements for the Innovation Center. A ventilated ceiling was installed along with our round KVR Capture Jet and a more traditional Capture Jet KVE. Integrating the exhaust and make up air system, balancing several work zones, was the M.A.R.V.E.L. Demand Control System. It is able to provide exhaust and supply in the correct quantities in response to the various areas being used.
Regardless of whether a new secret recipe is being developed by McCormick’s scientist or their customers are engaged in trying out new combinations of flavors, the system automatically responds to the ever changing schedule as the need arises
